Royal Buda Castle Apartments - Budapest

The location of this historic accommodation is simply unbeatable. Strolling along the charming streets surrounding the property, I felt like a character straight out of a fairytale. With sights like Matthias Church just a stone's throw away, I couldn't help but feel like royalty during my stay in Budapest.

Maintenance issues.

Magnificent and stunning location right by St Mattiash church, the old centre on the Buda side and the old center, and the room was air conditioned. Overall experience was VERY COMFORTABLE.

The apartment had a toaster and a car hire option, which was great because who doesn't love toast and driving around in Budapest?

Just a minor inconvenience of Matthias Church being only 200 meters away. Ugh, such a hassle to have a historic landmark so close to the apartment.

Reasonably large apartment short walk to the City Centre, the historic churches and public transport such as bus and metro. Wonderful staff, beautiful and enjoyable room. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Marvellous and amazing setting to the bus stop to town. Deli Palyaudvar tube station nearby. Fantastic price for comfortable place...

I had a mind-blowing stay at this apartment! The location was jaw-dropping, right in the heart of the old center, with all the historic sights on our doorstep. The apartment itself was super spacious and had all the amenities we needed, like free Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, and a fully equipped kitchen. The air conditioning was a bonus for those hot summer days, and we loved relaxing in front of the flat-screen TV. The fact that cots were provided for our family was a huge plus. Plus, the no pets and no smoking policy ensured a clean and fresh environment. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay!

This place is mind-blowing! The apartment was jaw-droppingly spacious, perfect for my family of 5. We had all the necessary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV. The location was super convenient, right in the heart of the historic Buda Castle area. The key procedure using the safe-like code was a breeze. There was a supermarket nearby, and we were just minutes away from incredible restaurants like Jimmy Oliver's. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, even meeting us late at night with a big smile. Plus, the Wi-Fi was excellent, and the air conditioning kept us cool throughout our stay. I can't wait to come back!

For the price we paid, we got amazing value! The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the castle and the bus stop to town. The staff, especially Lorant, were helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommend this place!

Breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a supermarket nearby, making it easy to prepare meals. The location was perfect, with all the main historic sites within walking distance. It was great to be able to explore the area on foot and not have to rely on public transportation.

That the apartment was located on the top floor of a three-floor building with no elevator. This meant that we had to climb several flights of stairs every time we went in and out, which was quite tiring.

The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. It is just off the centre of the castle district, close to major tourist attractions and St Matthias Church.3. The setting is absolutely perfect in a nice and quiet area.

The kitchen in our unit was equipped with a dishwasher and oven, making it easy for us to cook and enjoy meals together. The private bathroom in our unit had a bath and shower, and it felt so luxurious to relax in the tub after a long day of exploring. The apartment had a cozy sofa, and it was the perfect spot to unwind and watch movies in the evenings. Having a private entrance to our apartment made us feel like we had our own little retreat in the city. All the bedrooms were air-conditioned, which was a lifesaver in the summer heat.

Personally, we didn't use the oven much in our apartment, so it felt a bit unnecessary for us.
